So the first thing you have to do is to cat proof your home. You should remove string, ribbon, threads, paper clips, needles & pins and anything else that they could ingest. These things are dangerous to your pet.
When buying a stuffed cat toy, you should avoid toys that have loose ribbons and feathers, that have glass or plastic eyes, or other small parts that can be chewed and eaten. A good idea is to buy stuffed animals that are labeled as safe for children less than three years of age. These must of course not contain dangerous stuffing’s like nutshells and polystyrene beads. It would be better if the stuffed cat toy was machine-washable. The toy should be quite soft as rigid toys unless they are interactive cat toys tend to not be as attractive.

Some new and exciting cat toys?
I’m going on holiday in March, and my parter and I have decided to leave our cat at home and get a pet sitter to come through once a day to check on her and give her food/change litter and have a little play etc etc.
We are going for a week, and my kitty usually goes outside during the day to have a play but she is going to be confined inside for that whole week. What sort of toys or ideas can you suggest I leave out for her to help ease her bordem? I want to get the sitter to change them around so its exciting for her as well.

Cat Plush toy question?
A long time ago say 15 years there was this cat plush toy for kids and was medium size and I believe it had a plastic heart caller and when you shake it or move it. It would seem like it was purring from the head … I believe it came in different colors… anybody remember the name of them or have any picture or a website (doubt it )
