im getting my 8 month old male chocolate point Siamese cat Monday and tomorrow im going to go get some for him from Petco these are the things im getting he is getting neutered also thats why i have to get him monday

Being a stay home mom I’m trying to find a way to bring in a little extra cash. I’m very creative and was thinking about making cat toys. Things like play sticks with fun safe things hanging off the end like fabric/rope, and fish shaped stuffed fabric with a bell in it and fabric shaped mice stuffed with filling and a bell so it adds some fun to it and putting ribbon or rope as the tail. I give my bunny everything to play with… Wood sticks, plastic balls, hay cubes, little stuffed animal cat toys, treats, and even fruit he won’t eat it. And he wont play with any of them. The only thing I see him chew (which isn’t good) is the buttons on the remote! I have two remotes in the bedroom where he can run free and he always gets to them and almost all the buttons are gone. I have been hiding them from him since I noticed he likes to do that because I’m sure rubber isn’t good for his tummy But I was wondering if there are any bunny safe rubber toys he can play with and chew on that won’t effect him since that seems to be what he really likes to play with.. I was thinking maybe rubber dog toys since they seem pretty tough but I’m still not sure if it’s an ok thing for him to play with..

My cat is a little over 2 years old. He’s a black long hair, in case that might be relevant. He chews. A lot. Papers, the corners of furniture, cardboard, hard plastic, and anything wood. He DESTROYS cat toys of all kinds, even the rubbery plastic ones meant for chewing. I’ve tried getting him dog toys to chew on but even the ones meant for small dogs are too big for him to get his mouth on, so he ignores them. He likes to drag around stuffed animals but he doesn’t really damage those, unless you count cat spit as damage. If he can get his paws on them, he also loves shredding rolls of toilet paper and paper towels.

He doesn’t chew on absolutely EVERYTHING, though, so maybe it’s not pica? He eats friskies indoor delights. Could there not be all of the nutrition he needs in that kind of food?

How do I get him to stop??? I can’t afford to have a vet check him out right now. I’m afraid he’ll hurt himself. (Thankfully he doesn’t chew on electrical cords.). What do I do??
